Summary of information collected

We have collected the following categories of personal information from users in the last twelve months:

Descriptions of information collected

General. When you use the Service, you can browse without submitting personally identifiable information. We will, however, receive and store some non-personally identifiable information. In order to participate in certain functionalities, you may be asked to provide personally identifiable information such as your name, postal address, email address, or telephone number.

Account and login. If you create an account, you will be asked to provide your email address and a password. It is your responsibility to keep your information current and to ensure we have an active and deliverable email address for you.

Payments. If you make a payment to NONMLS, we collect information required for payment processing. We use third-party payment processors and do not store payment card information.

Public content. You may provide information intended for public consumption, including photos, ratings, reviews, and real estate listing information.

Location information. If you use our Service, we may receive your generic location such as city or neighborhood, or with your consent, precise geographic location data.

Automatically collected information. We may collect your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and the date and time of each request.

Cookies, web beacons, and analytics. We may use cookies, web beacons, and analytics providers such as Google Analytics to understand Service usage and improve the product. Your browser's Do Not Track setting may not affect all collection of information.

General. We use personally identifiable information to operate, manage, and administer your account and the Service, to provide support, to communicate with you, to monitor Service usage, and to personalize the Service.

Communications. We may use your personally identifiable information to respond to inquiries and to send promotional messages, subject to your ability to opt out where applicable.

Aggregate information and retention. We may use non-personally identifiable and aggregate information for any lawful purpose, including analyzing trends, managing the Service, and improving our business. We may also retain your information for as long as needed for business, legal, anti-fraud, and abuse prevention purposes.

Affiliated entities and service providers. We may disclose information to affiliated entities, agents, and service providers that support the Service. We will not share personally identifiable information for marketing purposes with third parties without your explicit consent.

Disclaimer. No transmission of data over the internet can be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure all information will never be disclosed in ways not described in this Privacy Policy.

We exercise care in facilitating the transmission of information between your device and the servers that operate the Service. While we maintain safeguards, no transmission of data over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to the Service, please notify us at privacy@nonmls.com.

California minors. If you are a California resident under age 18 and you believe your information has become publicly available through the Service and you are unable to remove it, you may request removal by contacting us at the same address.

California Consumer Privacy Act

Sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Because of this, we do not offer an option to opt out of the sale of personal information.

Your rights. Under the CCPA, you may request disclosure of what personal information has been collected, used, disclosed, and sold, and you may request deletion of your personal information.

Exercising your rights. You can submit CCPA disclosure or deletion requests by contacting privacy@nonmls.com.

California Shine the Light law

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to obtain, once per year and free of charge, a list of third parties to whom we have disclosed personally identifiable information for direct marketing purposes. Requests can be emailed with the subject line “California Privacy Rights.”

The Services and our privacy practices are intended to comply with the fair information principles of PIPEDA. Canadian residents may request access to the existence, use, and disclosure of personal information, and challenge its accuracy by contacting privacy@nonmls.com.

The Service is not intended for use outside the United States or Canada. If you provide personally identifiable information to us, it may be transferred to and processed on computers in the United States and other countries.

If you are from the European Economic Area or certain other territories, you may have rights such as erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and data portability. You also may have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

The Service or its users may provide links to other websites. We are not responsible for content, products, or services on linked sites, and those sites may operate under different terms and privacy policies.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time upon notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
